After his heartwarming talk, Gerald joined an avid fan in the fun challenge “Ultimate Gerald Anderson Quiz Bee.” He was accompanied by Jayson, someone he has known and met several times. For the game mechanics, questions about Gerald were asked, and both he and his fan had to press the buzzer, and the first to buzz got the chance to answer quickly.

The first question looked back on Gerald's roots, asking his exact age when he joined “Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 1” in 2006. Jayson pressed the buzzer first and rightfully answered that Gerald was 17 years old at the time. Gerald himself was amused, sharing that he had just turned 17 when he entered Bahay ni Kuya.

The next prompt moved on to Gerald's first teleserye, asking for its title. Jayson was quick again, answering, “Sana Maulit Muli [in] 2007,” which was correct and earned him a point. Gerald shared that if given an opportunity, he would love to do a remake of the series, saying nostalgia always hits him whenever he sees clips of the show circulating online.

Following this, the trivia focused on Gerald’s first role as a father in a teleserye. Jayson scored a point when he correctly said it was in “Nathaniel” (2015). Sharing an unforgettable moment, Gerald recalled recently meeting Marco Masa, noting how adorable it was to see that Marco is now a young man compared to when they last worked together, when he was still a child star.

The next question was about Gerald’s teleseryes in which he played a soldier. Jayson was unable to answer, giving Gerald the chance to name “A Soldier’s Heart” and “Tayong Dalawa.”

With Jayson’s back-to-back-to-back wins, it was Gerald who correctly answered the next question about his nationality. The Kapamilya star proudly shared that he is half Filipino and half American. When asked which branch of service he belongs to, Jayson missed the question, allowing Gerald to reveal that he serves as a reservist in the Philippine Coast Guard. In the final round, a five-point question asked in which teleserye Gerald made his directorial debut. Jayson once again proved how much of a superfan he is when he answered, “Sins of the Father,” ultimately winning the game against Gerald.

Catch Gerald as Jalil in “Blood vs Duty,” streaming on iWant starting April 4, and airing on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live (KOL) beginning April 6.
