Baron Geisler sweetly began their Kapamilya Chat Grand Fans Day guesting on April 1 with endless praise for his co-stars. “I look up to these guys. Ang ganda ng mga vision nila sa story… I’m looking forward soon na mai-direct ako ni Direk Gerald,” he expressed.
For Barbie Imperial and Bela Padilla, both the compelling actresses underscored feeling the surge of positivity within them. With an air of fulfillment, actor-director Bela added that they had been preparing nonstop for the show, putting their all in combat training and acting workshops since December 2025.
Drawing attention to the surrealness of the moment, Richard Gutierrez explained how this promo guesting for their teleserye led him to realize that their efforts would finally catch the eyes of excited Kapamilyas.

“Ako gusto ko malaman kung later on in the show, ‘pag nagkagulo-gulo na ba kami, babaliktad na ba siya?” Bela wondered, as rearranging it further in which red is on top would mean that the nation is at war, exactly like the expected twists of the show.
The rest of the cast responded with amazement to the poster’s powerful message, while Richard went on to say that it adequately conveyed the story at one glance. “I knew that it was going to be something special… Nangingilabot ako just talking about it,” Gerald added.
When describing “Blood vs Duty,” Baron called it “gritty” and reflected on over two decades of creative guidance from Director FM Reyes, highlighting the fresh insights and support from his first project with JRB Creative Production. “Dream come true talaga,” he expressed.
For Barbie, she viewed the series as an enlightening undertaking, since it was her first time taking on a culturally literate role as a Muslim woman named Jamilah, who is also the brave and caring younger sister of Jalil, Gerald’s character.
Bela also underscored Barbie’s thoughts, emphasizing the show’s proper representation of the often-misunderstood Muslim community. It was also a novel experience for Bela to portray her strong and vengeful character, Lara Angeles, who is an intelligence officer affiliated with Marcus, Richard’s role.
Regardless of the long lines and fast-paced progressions every week, Bela further commended the outstanding quality of the script. “Such an intelligent show due to the writing,” she expressed.
To conclude, Richard and Gerald, teased about the unexpected moments to watch out for, hyped their colleagues’ riveting performances, and lauded the culturally relevant essence of the show.
