At the Casa Rosas Hotel, Erica (Kaila Estrada), Beth (Charlie Dizon), Alice (Janella Salvador), and Mel (Sue Ramirez) gathered to unveil the truth of Anton’s (Jameson Blake) murder, Edong’s frame-up of Ryan (Yves Flores) , and the lie that unjustly convicted Edong (Jake Cuenca) for 14 years.
Leading the group, Erica states to the press that it was Edong who had actually killed Anton before delivering the body to Ryan’s car repair shop. She then recalled the beginning of Edong’s path to incarceration, specifically on their fourth year in high school when they had witnessed the murder of Louisa (Mutya Orquia).
Alice continues the harrowing narration, mentioning Esther (Malou Crisologo), who was the first one who had falsely accused Edong of the said crime and formally testified against him, over the fear that Edong would expose her embezzlement of alumni funds.
Taking the facts further, Mel takes over, citing Celestino (Bart Guingona) as the person responsible for pressuring them to agree with Esther’s statement. He was greatly powerful at the time, as he was the officer-in-charge for Edong’s case.
When it was finally the time for Beth to say the truth, she looks gently over to Ryan and Chloe (Jewel Milag), who give her comforting nods and smiles.
She brings to light the injustice that Celestino began to enforce against Edong, with the girls giving in to the social pressure and threats by concurring about the watch resembling Louisa’s found in the Santiago Brothers’ residence, which was actually false evidence.
Beth glances at Ryan and Chloe again before further confirming that they indeed imprisoned an innocent Edong, who is now exacting revenge on them, including murdering Anton and framing Ryan for it.
Just as when Erica attempts to reason further, Beth prevents her from doing so and admits that she had persecuted Erica to not speak the truth.
