After being able to prevent Roberto (Albert Martinez) and Miguelito (Jake Cuenca) from finishing off Tanggol (Coco Martin) by shooting from afar, Ramon (Christopher de Leon) persistently continued to walk through the corridors of the city hall and singlehandedly gun down the members of the police force and security detail of the Guerrero family who dared stand in his way.
Unfortunately, Ramon wasn’t able to protect himself from being killed by Roberto, who stealthily shot him from behind twice. As Ramon turned around in an attempt to retaliate, Roberto struck him again on the chest, which caused Ramon to collapse on his knees. Roberto went on to shoot Ramon at close range, fatally hitting him on the chest anew, which ultimately claimed the latter’s life.
Tanggol was actually there when it happened, yet he was already too late to save his father from Roberto’s ruthless attack. Enraged, he unleashed a barrage of bullets at Roberto and his henchmen, but Roberto managed to evade the gunfire by using one of his men as a human shield as he and his remaining men fled the scene.
Tanggol immediately rushed to his father’s side, who was already lying flat on the floor and struggling to hold on. Soon, their allies led by Congressman Leo Mojica (Rey Campanilla) arrived at the scene, followed by Marites (Cherry Pie Picache), who broke down in tears upon seeing Ramon’s condition.
As they wailed and repeatedly called out his name, their fondest memories with Ramon flashed before their eyes. Despite his fading strength, Ramon managed to deliver his tear-jerking final messages to both Tanggol and Marites before breathing his last.
