For over three decades, Rufa Mae Quinto has been widely known as an actress and comedienne, who never fails to amuse us with her formidable comedic flair and notable performances that she had showcased via her television and movie stints.
And after not seeing her regularly on a TV program for quite some time, many were indeed surprised and delighted when it was announced in 2025 that she would be part of “Your Face Sounds Familiar.” While some of us had probably seen her sing in her past onscreen and live appearances, we surely looked forward to how she would fare in “YFSF,” in which she had to put herself in the shoes of the artists assigned to her in every round.
As the reality show is about to wrap up, let’s relive her unforgettable performances—which gave us the highest ‘todo na ‘to!’ energy and entertainment.
On her very first time stepping onto the ‘iconator’ and the “YFSF” stage, the “Comedy Bombshell” immediately had us laughing out loud with her transformation into Vice Ganda as she recreated the look of the “Unkabogable Phenomenal Box Office Superstar” in the “Rampa” music video.
She might be among the celebrity performers who were at the bottom of the rankings for that round alongside Jarlo Base and Dia Mate after only receiving a combined score of 7 points—4 from the jury and 3 from her co-artist BGYO Akira Morishita—yet Rufa Mae was the frontrunner in in providing good vibes and endless laughter to everyone.
As juror Ogie Alcasid put it, “Wala ka mang tinamaan, tinamaan mo ang mga puso namin. Walang kapalit ‘yong katatawanang binigay [mo sa’min].”
True to the title of the song she performed in the second round, “Girls Just Want To Have Fun,” Rufa Mae’s Cyndi Lauper impersonation indeed radiated sheer enjoyment and electrifying energy. She earned 7 points from the jury and 3 points from weekly winner Jason Dy, placing her once again in sixth spot.
Clad in curly blonde wig and glossy gold costume, the “Comedy Bombshell” indeed shone bright in the third round as she channeled Grammy-winning artist Miley Cyrus, performing the hit single “Flowers.” She once again ranked sixth after earning the combined score of 10 points—with the jury giving her 7 and her “bestie” Dia Mate bestowing her 3.
After three consecutive rounds of delivering vibrant, high-energy performances, we got to see a softer, more composed side of Rufa Mae when she embodied singer-songwriter Moira Dela Torre singing her well-loved song, “Paubaya.” She earned 5 points from the jury and 3 points from Jarlo, placing her once again in sixth spot.
Last January 2026, we finally got to witness their duet on “ASAP,” with Rufa Mae channeling Moira again, which left everyone amused and the singer-songwriter laughing during their performance.
Rufa Mae then climbed one spot higher in the fifth round after the jury awarded her a total of nine points for her invigorating rendition of the viral hit “Zoom” by her icon, Jessi. She may not have won that round, but her performance was a victory in itself, as it caught the attention of the American-Korean rapper and singer a few days later.
In the sixth round, she once again returned to the sixth spot after the jury gave her a total of 8 points after lighting up the stage with her performance of the Pinoy Yuletide anthem “Christmas Bonus” as the late Mercy Sunot, vocalist of the legendary local pop rock band Aegis. She also received a video greeting from the members of the band, who conveyed their wish to sing along with her in a concert.
Just as everyone was excited to watch her become Jennifer Lopez and perform “On The Floor”—her highly anticipated “Battle of One Icon” with Dia Mate—she was unfortunately unable to appear in the seventh round due to a medical emergency. Despite missing the performance, Rufa Mae still secured an icon for the following round with the assistance of guest juror Erik Santos, who pressed the ‘iconizer’ on her behalf.
She then staged a thrilling comeback in the eighth round, opening it by unleashing her inner rockstar as P!NK with a fiery performance of “So What.” Once again, she secured 6th place after earning a total of six points from the jury.
Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to keep her momentum as she once again went back to the bottom of the rankings in the next two rounds. Her lovely performance of the well-loved OPM hit “Huwag na Huwag Mong Sasabihin” as Kitchie Nadal, whom she revealed is actually her second cousin, got four points from the jury, while her adorable transformation to Meghan Trainor in her “All About That Bass” act earned three points.
Rufa Mae bounced back in the 12th round with a spot-on transformation into American pop icon Tiffany and a captivating performance of the ’80s hit “All This Time,” earning the second-highest score of 18 points. The jury—including Erik—awarded her 12 points, while her fellow celebrity performers Akira and Alexa provided the remaining six.
Although she didn’t win that round, Alexa’s impeccable portrayal of her iconic onscreen character Booba was hailed the most favorite performance of both the jury and majority of the celebrity performers. Besides, we also got to see her bring Booba to life even for a bit during Alexa’s encore performance as the weekly winner. Interestingly, this memorable moment happened exactly 25 years after the comedy flick was released in 2001.
