Vincent (Paulo Avelino) strongly denies Arthur’s (John Arcilla) allegations about Walter’s (Sam Milby) case in the March 20 episode of “The Alibi”
Edward (Robbie Jaworski) visits Vincent’s home, first encountering Bea (Ayesha Bajeta) and playing along with her for a while. Vincent arrives and lightly nags him, but Edward insists that he came because he had heard what happened during Vincent’s interrogation with the police. “I’m worried about you, kuya.” Edward believes that Vincent has no involvement in Walter’s death. “Walang Cabrera na hindi matino.” Edward tells Vincent that he sees him as family, and that criminal activities are not in their nature.
The authorities continue investigating Walter’s case and his close ties with the Cabreras. Since he seemed almost like part of their family, they are puzzled about who could have killed him. Later, Arthur meets with Vincent and asks why he refuses to cooperate with the interrogations. “Wala akong ginagawang mali, may galit sila sa akin. They’re gonna twist anything I say,” Vincent reasons.
“Bakit kung umasta ka para kang may tinatago?” Arthur presses, questioning what Vincent really knows about Walter’s death. Vincent insists he knows nothing. “No one is indispensable sa Cabrera Group of Companies, kahit na ang mga anak ko,” Arthur warns, reminding him how the crime could damage Cabrera News, even suggesting that desperation might drive someone to violence. “You can call me desperate, but I’m not evil,” Vincent counters. Arthur then challenges him to prove his innocence.
After this, Vincent lashes out in his office, and George (Thou Reyes) steps in to calm him down. “Tol, ba’t ka ba nagkakaganyan?” he asks. Vincent vents his frustration, saying he must clear his name. “Pakiramdam ko ididiin ako ng mga pulis dahil sa video na lumabas na nagaaway kami ni Walter,” he explains. George reminds him, “Isa lang naman ang kailangan mong patunayan, diba? Na wala ka sa crime scene nung mga oras na yun.”
