Upon learning from their close friend Mando (Allan Paule) that it was Rigor (John Estrada) who accidentally killed their beloved son, Santino (Ron Martin), during the latest police operation against Tanggol (Coco Martin) and his group, Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) immediately went back to their house again to confront her estranged husband.
With Tindeng (Charo Santos) and their allies backing her up, Marites accosted Rigor and declared that she was there to take Santino’s body. Rigor indeed objected and warned her that he would kill her if she pushed through with her plan. He spitefully told her that she had no right to grieve since she had long abandoned her responsibilities as a wife and mother to their family.
As Marites blamed him for their son’s death and physically lashed out at him, Rigor also blamed her for being a good-for-nothing and negligent mother was what truly led to Santino’s demise. Marites fired back, reminding Rigor that it was his actions that pushed her away from their family and firmly reiterated that it was he who killed Santino.
When Marites attacked him again and screamed that he should have been the one to die, Rigor completely lost his temper and pulled out his service firearm and aimed it at his estranged wife.
Instead of retreating in fear, Marites dared him to pull the trigger and demanded that he tell her how he murdered their son. Rigor froze and admitted that he never intended for it to happen since Santino’s death was purely an accident. Tindeng then stepped in, telling Rigor that he was the one who had no right to grieve because of what he had done.
Overwhelmed by Marites’ anguish and confronted with the painful truth, Rigor slowly lowered his gun and turned his back on them, silently allowing Marites and her companions to take Santino’s body and move it elsewhere. Consumed by grief and fury, Marites left the house with those who stood by her, with her anger toward Rigor, definitely far from being extinguished.
