MANILA -- Mark Lapid bid goodbye to ABS-CBN's hit primetime drama "FPJ's Batang Quiapo," as his character Ben, was killed off in Friday's episode.
Lapid's character died after he was shot by Miguelito (Jake Cuenca) who was after Tanggol (Coco Martin) and his group.
Before his death, Ben betrayed Tanggol as he told Miguelito information about the show's lead character. Ben's wife Gina (Prado) was also gunned down by Miguelito.
In a social media post, Dreamscape Entertainment and CCM Film Productions thanked Lapid and Prado for their portrayal of Ben and Sue, respectively.
In an exit interview, Lapid and Prado also expressed their gratitude to Martin and "Batang Quiapo."
It was last month when Lapid returned to "Batang Quiapo,” reprising his role as Ben Camacho nearly a year after his character last appeared in the hit series. Lapid was one of the original cast members of the series, which debuted in 2023.
Meanwhile, Dreamscape Entertainment and CCM Film Productions also released a reel which gives a glimpse of the upcoming action-filled episodes of "Batang Quiapo."

“FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” airs weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, ALLTV2, A2Z, iWant, and Kapamilya Online Live.
