After earning an early advantage when four housemates picked her as the most deserving Kapuso housemate to reach the Big Night of “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0,” Caprice Cayetano left no doubt about her place in the coveted “The Ultimate 8” after beating fellow GMA artist Marco Masa during their nerve-wracking Big Jump challenge.
In this game, Caprice and Marco had to outscore each other by moving colored blocks from one station to another by passing through either of the two possible lanes provided for them.
While the challenge appeared simple at first, it proved far more difficult as soon as they began. They had to carefully balance the colored blocks on a cylindrical handle while making their way through a maze lined with blue blocks—any of which, if knocked over, would reduce their respective score.
Realizing that collecting “positive” blocks would take time, Caprice and Marco both opted for the easier path, which was the black lane, where every colored block they successfully shot into the box at the opposite end of the lane would instead deduct points from their opponent. In the end, it was the ‘Demure Daughter ng Quezon City’ who won the challenge after garnering a total of negative 204 (-204) points, while the ‘Wonder Brother ng Antipolo’ scored a total of negative 253 (-253).
“Ang plano ko po ngayong kasama na po ako sa Ultimate 8, Kuya, ibibigay ko pa rin po ‘yong best ko at ipagpapatuloy ko po kung sino po talaga ako, Kuya,” Caprice told Kuya inside the confession room.
