Kuantie Melai Cantiveros- Francisco is back with another bisdak, fun-filled chikahan in the February 3 episode of “Kuan on One.” This time, she is joined by “Pinoy Big Brother Otso” Big Winner Yamyam Gucong as they catch up on his journey---from his “PBB” days to nearly 6 years of being an entrepreneur.

Yamyam went on to share more inspiring stories about his family in a quirky “Dakong Problema” challenge with Melai. Aptly titled “From Big Winner to Breadwinner,” the segment was inspired by Yamyam’s journey as a bakeshop owner. In this challenge, Melai and Yamyam were each given a block of dough and tasked to mold it into something related to a given situation---all within 30 seconds.

The first challenge prompt asked them to create something that would represent their role as parents. With only 30 seconds on the clock, both quickly began molding their dough. Melai shaped hers into a heart, while Yamyam came up with a starfish-like figure.

She added that her first experience of love came through her faith. Meanwhile, Yamyam crafted a starfish-like figure, with its five “feet” symbolizing each member of his family and himself at the center, serving as their foundation.

Yamyam and Melai once again had quirky yet inspiring answers when asked what they dream to achieve in their careers. Yamyam molded a Shakoy, a Filipino fried twisted donut, to symbolize his journey.

Meanwhile, Melai shaped her dough into a sun.

For the third round, the prompt asked how they would represent the ways they help and give back to their families. Yamyam shaped two rocks, one symbolizing himself as the Big Winner and the other representing his family.

Melai, meanwhile, molded her dough into a gold bar, even connecting it to the song “Golden.” For her, helping one’s family is a journey that always moves upward and never downward.

For the final round, Melai and Yamyam were asked to create a form of their self-portrait. After thinking carefully, Melai molded her own smile out of the dough. Magpasalamat sa Diyos, kahit masakit ang katawan, kailangang ngumiti,” she shared, adding that she wants her children to always begin their day with a smile.

For his self-portrait, Yamyam chose to represent himself as a tree, drawing from his role as the family’s breadwinner and source of joy. Sa akin sila kumukuha ng lakas,” he shared, adding that his parents are his inspiration---and in turn, they also draw strength from him.

Melai later praised Yamyam for his determination to keep working hard even after becoming a Big Winner, commending him for spending wisely and investing his earnings well.
