Olsen (Kyle Echarri) tries to make amends with Homer (Christian Vasquez) for a purpose in the February 18 episode of “Roja.”
After being separated for quite some time, Ice (Kai Montinola) approaches Olsen and informs him about Macky’s (Kobie Brown) plan to stir up trouble, from breaking the transmitter to distracting the goons. Olsen finds the plan too risky, “Wala naman tayong laban sa mga ‘yan. Kailangan nating makuha yung mga baril na nakuha namin sa isla.” He instructs Ice to relay the information to Fin (Igi Boy Flores) and Macky, adding that he has a plan of his own--- leaving Wendy (Janice De Belen) to wonder what it could be.
It turns out Olsen has a plan that involves Homer, now that he has learned Homer is his real father. Olsen approaches him and asks to talk, “Sinabi sa akin ng nanay ko na namatay yung totoong tatay ko bago ako ipinanganak. Ngayon ko lang nalaman na nagsinungaling pala siya sa akin. Buhay pala yung totoong tatay ko at nararamdaman ko na ikaw ‘yon.” He tells Homer, growing emotional as he speaks.
“Kung anak nga kita, ano’ng gusto mo ngayon?” Homer asks Olsen, to which the latter replies that he wants Homer to free Wendy from the hostage-takers. Homer mockingly laughs, finding the idea absurd, “Alam mo ba kung anong ginawa ng nanay mo sa’kin? Ginamit niya lang ako. Kung totoong nabuntis ko siya at nalaman ko, pananagutan ko ‘yon. Pero anong ginawa niya nung nagkaproblema? Naglaho na parang bula.” Olsen reiterates that Wendy only lied to both of them.
"Kaya ako mismo ang nakikipag-usap sa’yo bilang anak. ‘Tay, please,” Olsen pleads. This does not convince Homer at all, who adds that Olsen is probably just trying to fool him. Olsen argues that he never expected to meet his father as a hostage-taker, “Baka puwede tayong magsimula ulit?” He extends his hand, hoping Homer will shake it, but chaos ensues.
