Back at Beth’s (Charlie Dizon) residence, she explains to Ryan (Yves Flores) and Chloe (Jewel Milag) that they have to be prepared for the repercussions of her being involved in Anton’s (Jameson Blake) case against Mel (Sue Ramirez).
She turns to pity herself, thinking about how the gossips might not even involve her as she’s just a normal person nobody would pay attention to.
Ryan silently watches Beth talk, but Chloe finds the courage to express that Beth or their current life is not a mere “nothing” for her and Ryan, Beth’s only family.
When Chloe walks to her room, Beth and Ryan follow. There Chloe reveals that she had overheard their argument about Beth having regrets with her life, making her feel unhappy about living in their small house and not being able to achieve her dreams.
Beth denies Chloe’s claims, but Chloe recalls how Beth didn’t answer when Ryan asked her to choose if she could relive this life again if she was given the chance.
Chloe continues conveying her sorrows, questioning whether Beth truly loves her as her daughter. She concludes her painful confession by emphasizing that she’s more scared about Edong being the reason that their family would fall apart.
