Liam helps Olsen save his family
After having small arguments due to their past issues, Liam and Olsen (Kyle Echarri) team up to save Olsen’s family while being chased by the goons. Wendy (Janice de Belen), spotted by the goons through the security cameras as she tries to escape, is seen by Olsen and Liam, who attempt to call her attention.
The goons chase Wendy, and she pretends to be dead along with Lolo Ben (Levi Ignacio) and Fin (Igi Boy Flores). Danger looms as the goons approach, while Liam and Olsen watch from hiding. When the goons leave after believing them to be dead, Wendy unfortunately draws their attention again. Just as the goons are about to shoot her, Liam bravely opens fire, and together with Olsen, he fights to save the family---even going so far as to kill someone in the process.
Liam’s promise to his parents
After encountering Gwen (Lou Yanong), the unconscious Liam wakes up in the arms of his parents, Greta (Lorna Tolentino) and Magnus (Raymond Bagatsing), who grow worried about him. Liam immediately hugs them and apologizes for failing to contact the authorities to save them from the siege. He also apologizes to Magnus for not being able to do anything while Magnus was beaten earlier by the goons.
Magnus, who had not been on good terms with Liam prior to the siege, tells Liam how proud he is of him for risking his life to secure their safety. Liam feels delighted, even more so upon learning that Magnus kept his trophy from his cooking achievement. Later, Liam assures his parents that he will not let anything bad happen to them. Despite the issues surrounding their family, Liam’s love and respect for them remain unchanged.
Liam bravely comes to help Luna
Due to being used by Emil (Joel Torre) to lure Olsen out of hiding, Liam faces a tough challenge with an explosive device strapped to his body, putting lives at risk if he fails to find Olsen---including the life of his best friend, Luna (Maymay Entrata). As the time limit nears its end, the bomb is about to explode, and Luna is moments away from being killed.
Liam rushes toward the shore, removes the surveillance camera attached to him, and later takes off the vest with the bomb. Dado (Bernard Palanca) urges Gwen to shoot Luna since Liam failed to find Olsen, but before anything happens, Liam throws the bomb‑laden vest toward Dado, Gwen, and Luna, causing an explosion that forces them all to rush and jump into the shore.
Liam immediately saves Luna, swimming to rescue her from drowning. He tries to rouse her from unconsciousness, and at last, Luna opens her eyes—all thanks to Liam’s bravery.
Liam comes to the rescue of the La Playa Roja staff
As the siege intensifies, Liam plots an escape plan to save the staff of La Playa Roja from Gwen and Dado. Disguised as one of the goons, Liam lures the others and later reveals himself to the staff, who pleads for his help.
He thinks of a strategy to create a commotion, preventing Gwen from contacting Emil. Dado arrives, while the staff begin their escape with Luna ready to assist them. Liam engages in a head‑to‑head battle with Dado, exchanging gunfire and eventually getting in a fistfight, risking his life to protect the others. After defeating Dado, Liam quickly helps the staff escape.
Liam extends help and apology towards Wendy
After escaping the island premises and facing Emil’s wrath, Lolo Ben falls into critical condition, leaving Olsen and Wendy deeply worried. Despite the ongoing rift between their families, Liam sincerely approaches Wendy, apologizing for everything his family had done to her.
Liam also offers to cover Lolo Ben’s medical expenses as a gesture of help. He apologizes to Wendy for getting angry at her earlier, blaming her as one of the reasons Greta chose to part ways with the other victims during their escape. Wendy accepts his apology, understanding why things between their families turned out that way.
Despite facing numerous hardships before, during, and after the siege, the goodness in Liam’s heart remains. His love for his friends, family, and even the hotel staff drove him to risk his life during the siege and go on full defense for them---a trait admired by many viewers.
