Liam (Donny Pangilinan) and Olsen (Kyle Echarri) follow Emil's (Joel Torre) orders to search for the money they took from the hostages in the February 6 episode of “Roja.” When Jericho (Floyd Tena) reveals to Emil where he hid the money, it leads to his sudden death as Emil throws him off the hospital balcony. Emil then assigns Liam and Olsen to look for the money within the La Playa Roja premises, where it was said to be hidden.
As Dado (Bernard Palanca) attaches explosive devices to Liam and Olsen's bodies, Emil instructs them, “Kukunin niyo ang pera at alahas namin sa isla. Pag di kayo bumalik alas-dose ng tanghali, patay silang lahat.” Emil threatens further, warning that their families’ lives will be on the line if they fail to follow his instructions. If Liam and Olsen return empty-handed, it would cost them their lives---as well as the lives of every hostage currently held captive.
Emil tells them that everything, including their transportation, is already settled, and that he has made a pact with the authorities not to sabotage their mission. He gives Liam a cellular phone to update him, since the signal jammers they planted throughout the resort are already gone, allowing them to communicate more easily.
Everyone grows worried for Liam and Olsen. Wendy (Janice de Belen) tells Olsen to take care, while Senator Maristella (Lloyd Samartino) pleads with Liam not to abandon them. Liam assures him that they won’t, as their parents will also be left behind with them. “Babalik kami,” Liam says, to which Emil replies that they should. “Uulitin ko, ‘pag di kayo bumalik na dala ang pera’t alahas namin, patay sa’kin ang mga ‘to, at hahantingin ko kayo,” he warns.
Dado and Lucas (Marc Abaya) walk Olsen and Liam out of the hospital, with their transportation waiting for them outside. Before leaving, Liam and Olsen look at all the people gathered outside the hospital, including the staff, authorities, and the media. “Sana nakalabas na sina Luna (Maymay Entrata), pati sina Ice (Kai Montinola),” Liam tells Olsen, hoping for their safety.
