Certain that Tanggol (Coco Martin) will not miss the funeral of his beloved younger brother, Santino (Ron Martin), Rigor (John Estrada) orders several officers from the Quiapo Police Station to proceed immediately to the residence of Congressman Leo Mojica (Rey Campanilla).
The unexpected arrival of the police indeed causes chaos outside Cong. Mojica’s house, as some of Tanggol’s allies attempt to block them, but to no avail. Meanwhile, those who are inside, including Tanggol, his family, and his friends, are alarmed as they hear the commotion.
Tanggol is ready to come face-to-face with Rigor, but Ramon stops him because he knows that many people might get hurt, including their loved ones. He simply assures him that they will still have other chances to exact vengeance and seek justice for everything Rigor has done to their family.
Marites echoes this, begging Tanggol to leave right at the very moment to prevent him from crossing paths with Rigor again, fearing that something worse might happen to him or to any of the people dear to him. Heeding his parents’ advice, Tanggol escapes with his group just before Rigor and his men force their way into Cong. Mojica’s house to search for them.
Once they’re able to open the door of the house, which several allies hold shut, Rigor storms inside and demands, “Nasaan si Tanggol?” Since his intrusion destroys the supposed solemnity of the funeral, Marites vehemently confronts Rigor by slapping him on the face multiple times and reminding him that he is responsible for their son’s death. Repulsed by what Marites is doing to him, Rigor shoves her aside, draws his gun, and points it at her. Instead of cowering and backing down, Tindeng dares him to pull the trigger, but he does not.
When Cong. Mojica threatens to sue the officers for entering his home without permission, Rigor fires back, warning that he could file charges against them for harboring fugitives like Tanggol and his group. The congressman demands proof to support the accusation, but Rigor responds only with more threats.
As those inside hurl insults and demand that he leaves —and after one officer confirms there is no sign of Tanggol—Rigor, visibly frustrated, warns them that they cannot hide Tanggol forever before departing with his men.
Marites instantly broke down in tears as soon as they left, with Tindeng and Roda (Joel Lamangan) consoling her.
