Liam (Donny Pangilinan) and Olsen (Kyle Echarri) finally decide to put an end to their rift in the January 23 episode of “Roja.” While staying inside the hospital, the two decided to share a meal and talk things over with Pancit.
“Akalain mo ’yun… akala natin katapusan na natin.” Liam recalls the siege they faced, smiling in relief as they feast. He then pulls out another pack of food, handing it to Olsen to give to Wendy (Janice de Belen). Olsen thanks him, and Liam expresses his gratitude toward Olsen as well.
“Salamat din… dahil sa’yo, makakasalo ko pa si Papa sa pagkain,” Liam says, as Olsen had donated blood for Magnus (Raymond Bagatsing) to help him recover. Olsen, however, remains worried about Ben’s (Levi Ignacio) condition. Liam reassures him that Ben will recover, offering words of encouragement.
Olsen adds that he donated blood to Magnus because he also sees him as a father. “At saka niligtas niya ’yong buhay ko.” He recalls the time Magnus fought for both of them against the goons. Liam adds that Olsen himself had once saved him during their encounter with Emil (Joel Torre).
“Kaya, pare, pasensya na ulit,” Liam apologizes. “Sinisi ko ang nanay mo dahil sa nangyari kay Mama. Samantalang mas malala pa talaga ’yong ginawa ko sa inyo dati.” He reflects on the time he revealed their whereabouts to Emil. Both Liam and Olsen acknowledge their past mistakes, noting that they would indeed do anything for their families.
From behind, Luna (Maymay Entrata) watches them, feeling happy that her best friends have finally reconciled. She eventually joins them and shares the meal.
