All eyes are now on the intense showdown happening between the 'Solid Six' (Carmelle Collado, Joaquin Arce, Heath Jornales, Eliza Borromeo, Sofia Pablo, and Caprice Cayetano) and the 'Striving Feathers' (Ashley Sarimento, Lella Ford, Marco Masa, Miguel Vergara, Krystal Mejes, and Princess Aliyah) in "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0."
The first of three 'LigTask' challenges between the two groups has officially kicked off, and the outcome will determine which squad will earn immunity in the next eviction. For the first challenge, housemates had to transfer a pingpong ball from the first plate to the sixth plate, following the correct order by blowing it, without letting the ball fall, or else they’d have to start again from the first plate.
After six match-ups, 'Solid Six' had four points while 'Striving Feathers' trailed with two. But Kuya had a plot twist prepared! Two special rounds were added, each worth two points, where each group would nominate the "pinakamahina" or weakest member from the other team to compete.
Sofia from 'Solid Six' and Krystal from 'Striving Feathers' were tagged as the "weakest" by the opposing teams. It took more than an hour before either one progressed, until Sofia eventually pulled through and secured the first two point from the special rounds. The previous episode ended with a score of 6-4 in favor of the 'Solid Six.'
In the January 21 episode, which let us in on the continuation of the task, the next special round had each team nominate their own “strongest” member. Solid Six chose Eliza, while Striving Feathers picked Princess, who had a chance to tie the game. But Eliza quickly figured out the right strategy and earned two more points for her team.
Kuya then announced the final result of the first LigTask—8 points for Solid Six and 4 points for Striving Feathers. After the game, both groups gathered to talk, with Striving Feathers encouraging each other that there’s still a chance to bounce back.
After the first challenge, some housemates also opened up about their feelings. Krystal, who was voted as one of the “weakest,” confided in her friend Carmelle, saying that she realized how much she has grown inside the house because if it were before, she would've taken the loss harder. But now, even after being tagged “pinakamahina,” she was able to accept it calmly as she's now more aware of her own strengths and even weaknesses.
Lella's teammates offered her comfort and support too, as she expressed her worries about not being able to help her group.
