The two newly formed groups in "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" have officially kicked off their first of three 'LigTask' challenges, and they were 'shookt' by the plot twists that came with it.
The January 20 episode opened with the housemates selecting their group leaders. Ashley Sarmiento, who was the first to finish the challenge during the previous group formation task under 'Striving Feathers,' was chosen to lead Lella Ford, Marco Masa, Miguel Vergara, Krystal Mejes, and Princess Aliyah.
Meanwhile, Carmelle Collado was picked as the leader of the 'Solid Six,' composed of Joaquin Arce, Heath Jornales, Eliza Borromeo, Sofia Pablo, and Caprice Cayetano.
For the entire week, both groups will be racking up points by slaying all three 'LigTask' challenges. In the first challenge, housemates had to transfer a Ping-Pong ball from the first plate to the sixth plate, following the correct order by blowing it, without letting the ball fall. If it did fall, they’d have to start again from the first plate.
First up were Ashley from 'Striving Feathers' and Sofia from 'Solid Six,' both of whom struggled at the beginning. But Ashley chose to be calm with a “patience is a virtue” mindset and ended up scoring the opener.
Next up were Princess and Carmelle. Although anxious, Princess quickly got the hang of the strategy and earned a point for her team.
But, the 'Solid Six' fired back with Eliza beating Marco for their first point, followed by Caprice winning over Krystal for their second. With two points apiece, the momentum soon swung in favor of 'Solid Six' after consecutive wins from Heath and Joaquin.
After six match-ups, 'Solid Six' had four points while 'Striving Feathers' trailed with two. But Kuya had a plot twist prepared! Two special rounds were added, each worth two points, where each group would nominate the "pinakamahina" or weakest member from the other team to compete.
Sofia from 'Solid Six' and Krystal from 'Striving Feathers' were tagged as the "weakest" by the opposing teams. It took more than an hour before either one progressed, until Sofia eventually pulled through and secured the first two point from the special rounds. While Sofia felt redeemed after being labeled “weakest,” Krystal admitted she was hurt but chose to stay positive.
The episode ended with 'Solid Six' holding six points and 'Striving Feathers' with four. One last special round awaits.
