A few minutes after Beth (Charlie Dizon) ventures deep into the forest, she encounters Angelo (Marlo Mortel). Meanwhile, her loved ones begin mobilizing to find her, as she has been out of contact for several hours.
Chloe (Jewel Milag) is one of the first to start the search and reaches out to Erica (Kaila Estrada). She emphasizes the seriousness of the situation, revealing that Beth believes the person who hurt her is the same one who killed Louisa (Mutya Orquia).
Before things escalate further, attempts at communication are made. Beth tries to call Liezel (Mary Joy Apostol), but the forest’s lack of signal prevents her. Later, Ryan (Yves Flores), who had been late to see Beth’s messages about meeting Liezel, reaches out to their daughter, Chloe.
Time passes, and it becomes clear that Liezel never actually met Beth, despite Beth’s message suggesting otherwise. Liezel explains that she was late and had lost her phone, prompting Ryan to question Angelo’s whereabouts and adding another layer of suspicion.
Soon after, Ryan, Liezel, Alice (Janella Salvador), and Mel (Sue Ramirez) arrive together. Ryan reveals that Beth never wanted them to know about the fiasco with Liezel and Angelo. Now, however, he voices his regrets over the situation, expressing his intention to report Angelo and ending with a warning about the consequences if Beth gets hurt.Back with Beth and Angelo, he warns her that Liezel shouldn’t see his box of knives. When he suddenly grabs her, Beth knees him and runs, with Angelo chasing after her despite his limp.
During the chase, the team searching for Beth attempts to split up, and Alice has a brief traumatic reaction when confronted by the trees.
After several dramatic twists and falls, Beth finds herself between Angelo and Liezel, recalling the nightmare she had about their malicious intentions. She pushes Liezel and grabs the knife, but Angelo quickly overpowers her, cutting her hand before turning his care to his wife.
In a split second, Ryan arrives with the others and jumps into a fistfight with Angelo, which is abruptly stopped by a gunshot. The incident sparks intense questioning of who is truly innocent. They soon realize that the text messages sent to Angelo and Beth were not from them, but from someone else.
Erica continues leading the search for the truth, as Angelo recalls his hike and explains that the blood Beth and Ryan saw came from a fellow hiker connected to Judge Tecson, not from the missing Bianca.
The biggest revelation comes when they ask about Louisa’s love note, which was actually given to Liezel, revealing their past relationship rather than Louisa being Angelo’s alleged third party.
