The seemingly impossible way Edong (Jake Cuenca) planned his interference in the lives of Beth (Charlie Dizon) and Liezel (Mary Joy Apostol) was uncovered, beginning with Edong overhearing rumors that Liezel was accused of her student Bianca’s disappearance—and that Beth was the one who started the accusations.
Thrilled by the information, Edong sprang into action the next day, sneaking into Amurao High and ambushing the school’s innocent janitor into unconsciousness to steal his uniform and move about unnoticed.
During his time inside, he intentionally watched Bianca’s mother pick a fight with Beth and Liezel, even moving closer with a wicked smile on his face—taking particular pleasure in Beth’s struggle.
Then he decided to extract more details during Beth and Liezel’s confrontation in the faculty room, where Beth demanded that Liezel explain why she had lied about not being close to Louisa (Mutya Orquia) in the past.
Moving on, Edong was also responsible for Beth’s recent hospitalization—he struck her head with a tomb’s cross and even stomped on her with such force, only fleeing when Ryan (Yves Flores) arrived.
The frown on Edong’s face when he saw Louisa’s grave did not inspire even a shred of sympathy, as he chose to observe Liezel and Angelo’s falling out—from Liezel following Angelo into the woods to Ryan’s fight with Angelo.
At a crucial moment, Edong managed to infiltrate Liezel and Angelo’s home, taking advantage of Angelo being out in the middle of the night and Liezel going to the garage to search for evidence of Angelo’s possible involvement in Bianca’s disappearance or Louisa’s murder.
Throughout the night, while Liezel and Angelo were caught up in their own activities, Edong stole Liezel’s phone, which he used the next morning to text Beth and Angelo—aiming to make them confront and hurt each other in the worst possible way.
In the messages he sent, he posed as Beth, instructing Angelo to go to the forest and bring cash, threatening that if he failed to show up, he and Liezel would be further blamed for Bianca’s case.
For Beth, he posed as Liezel, telling her to go to the forest as well, in search of evidence that would “prove” Angelo’s alleged murderous intentions.
By the end, he was delighted by the chaos, with everyone pointing fingers—Erica (Kaila Estrada), Alice (Janella Salvador), Mel (Sue Ramirez), and Ryan all caught up in the confusion. However, Marco (Race Matias) sensed him watching and pursued him, though Edong fortunately managed to escape.
