Once the heated controversies involving Liezel (Mary Joy Apostol), Angelo (Marlo Mortel), Beth (Charlie Dizon), and Bianca subside, Erica (Kaila Estrada) accompanies Liezel and Bianca to Amurao’s police station for legal guidance, particularly regarding Bianca’s disappearance and sexual assault case.
As the three leave the station, gossip about them can still be overheard, but they brush it off, focusing on how they’ll move forward. Taking the first steps toward healing, Erica tells Bianca about her colleague, who will assist with her legal case against her stepfather.Stunned by Erica’s goodwill despite not knowing her personally, Bianca asks why she genuinely wants to help. Gently, Erica explains that she knows how it feels to be abandoned by a parent and consoles Bianca, assuring her that her mother’s choice to side with her abuser is not her fault.
As Erica prepares to leave, Liezel catches up to her, expressing gratitude that, despite the surrounding fiasco, Erica still reached out to support her and Bianca.
Erica notes that Liezel showed genuine care for Bianca by choosing to protect her and keep her secret. Wholeheartedly, Liezel shares that Bianca reminded her of her past with Louisa (Mutya Orquia), when her father made their relationship feel shameful and meant to be hidden—something she doesn’t want a child like Bianca to go through.
Satisfied with the conversation, Erica thanks Liezel as well for making Louisa feel loved and assures her that Louisa’s death was not her fault. When Erica wishes her peace, Liezel grows anxious, realizing that she and Angelo might not be able to repair their marriage.
With a smile, Erica subtly advises her to hold on to Louisa’s memories and her words about never giving up. Feeling uplifted, Liezel says that, after all these years, Louisa still feels alive within her. What will be Liezel, Bianca, and Erica’s next steps toward healing?
