It is said that there's a season for everything. And apart from the more technical wet or dry seasons in the Philippines, or the whole deal with weather forecasts and rain clouds, we also mean the season of love, the season of giving, and those little chapters that unfold throughout the year.

So we asked the one squad we’re with through every season—the “It’s Showtime” family—to tell us which one they vibe with most, and here’s what they shared.

Christmas really does hit different. For MC Muah, it’s the overall vibe that makes December feel special. “Parang lahat ng tao nakangiti. Parang lahat ng tao masaya. Lahat ng tao gustong magbigay,” he mused. It must be the air, or maybe the nostalgia, but there’s something about this time of year that just lifts everyone’s mood. “Kahit mainit sa bansa natin, naaamoy mo pa rin 'yung simoy ng Pasko. Feeling mo ang lamig.

The same goes for Cianne Dominguez, who looks forward to the lightness that suddenly floats around during the holidays. “Iba 'yung feeling ng Christmas,” she reflected. “Parang lahat magaan at masaya. Sobrang mas nakaka-encourage mag-care.

Vhong Navarro likewise loves the 'ber' months. Sweater weather and the countdown to Christmas? Solid combo! "Christmas is the best," as Ogie Alcasid also declared.

Karylle also loves the season of giving during the Yuletide season, which, in the Catholic tradition, extends all the way to the Feast of the Three Kings, a celebration she’ll never forget since her last name is literally 'Tatlonghari.'

Jackie Gonzaga thinks Christmas makes everyone extra loving, plus she likes how the weather is just perfect. Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without holiday staples like puto bumbong. “Thank you, Lord, for Christmas. Happy birthday, Jesus,” said Ate Girl.

But while most of the hosts were locked in the Christmas spirit, Darren Espanto gave a little nod to the other seasons. Having grown up in Canada, he has a soft spot for autumn and spring—leaves falling, flowers blooming, sweater layering… you get the picture. But here in the Philippines, he enjoys summer the most, especially when it means beach trips with family and friends.

For Lassy Marquez, it’s a tie between Christmas and summer, but if he had to pick just one, Christmas would always come first.

You know that warm fuzzy feeling you get around your birthday? Jhong Hilario totally gets that—that’s why his birthday season is his personal favorite. He always clears his schedule to spend his birthday, which falls on August 11, with family. “Kasi sa sobrang busy, minsan talagang nawawala 'yung time sa family,” he shared. “’Pag birthday ko, nakakapagpaalam tayo [sa trabaho] and I spend my birthday celebration with my family.”

Well, if we’re talking vacation vibes, Teddy Corpuz always looks forward to the holidays most of all. He shared that the holiday season gives the "It’s Showtime" family their longest break—about 10 to 12 days off.  "Ito na 'yung longest days na magkakasama kami ng family ko kasi walang pasok 'yung mga bata," he shared. That often means planning a vacation, either out of town or abroad.

Every season brings something to love. And as for us, Solid Showtimers, we're just happy we get to share it all with the "It's Showtime" family, right? Altogether now: Umulan man o umaraw...
