Considering the massive amount of people who have expressed their support for Tanggol (Coco Martin) as the next mayor of the City of Manila, many have found it completely unbelievable that he lost the race to his toughest rival, Miguelito Guerrero (Jake Cuenca).
Thus, his supporters are demanding a recount of votes, as they firmly believe that the results in the positions of mayor and vice mayor are rigged. One of them is Tanggol’s beloved Lola Tindeng (Charo Santos), who asked her friend Roda (Joel Lamangan) for an update regarding the action being taken by Team Tanggol against the questionable results of the elections.
Roda relayed to her that incoming Congressman Leo Mojica (Rey Campanilla), the former chairman of Barangay San Dimas, told him that their party is already filing an election protest in order to convince the authorities to conduct a recount. According to him, they are now in the process of gathering the witnesses and persuading them to speak up about the electoral misconduct.
As Alfredo (Juan Rodrigo) agreed for Tanggol’s party and the witness to have their assembly at his house, Tindeng asserted that they must do everything they can for truth to still prevail in the end. The fight may be going to be tough since the enemies are so powerful, but she firmly believes that they will still succeed in the end, as many people will be on their side.
