While waiting for the Guerreros to attack their mansion, Tanggol (Coco Martin) noticed the absence of his mother, Marites (Cherry Pie Picache), and asked his father, Ramon (Christopher de Leon), where she was.
Ramon told him that he had not seen her either and that she had already left them based on the letter found in her room. Tanggol checked the letter and declared that it was completely fake because he knew that Marites could not do it to them, especially after living a miserable life with Rigor (John Estrada) for so many years that they were together.
Tanggol went on to convey that he felt something fishy was happening at the mansion, which made Olivia (Chanda Romero) and his henchmen perturbed. Thus, she suddenly excused herself and quickly went straight to the kitchen along with her two right-hand men, which enkindled Tanggol’s suspicion that they were off to something evil.
And his intuition didn’t fail him as he caught Olivia lighting up the oven where they kept Marites. Olivia told him that they were just cooking lechon, which he didn’t fall for as he asked them to open it. They were initially hesitant to heed his order until Marites gained consciousness and banged on the door of the oven.
Tanggol was indeed shocked to see his mother inside, so he swiftly assaulted Olivia’s henchmen who attempted to shoot him and pointed his gun at her. Marites went out of the oven and vehemently attacked Olivia.
