For certified Batang ‘90s RK, "Magic Kingdom: Ang Alamat ng Damortis" was a core memory partly for its magical adventures and even more so for Anne, who played Princess Dahlia in the movie and became his very first showbiz crush.
JM definitely did "feel" the Alice Dixson effect when he was younger. “Bata pa lang ako, ’pag nakikita ko siya parang gumiginhawa ’yung buhay ko," he divulged. Alice was considered one of the certified 'crush ng bayan' during the '90s (and even now), especially after she starred in an iconic soap commercial that became widely remembered for the sultry shoulder move she made popular.
