Before she became known as television's “Dyosa,” Anne Curtis first captured hearts as Princess Dahlia in her debut film "Magic Kingdom: Ang Alamat ng Damortis" back in 1997. At just 12 years old, she had that ethereal beauty and screen presence that made her unforgettable.
For many Batang ‘90s, “Magic Kingdom” was a core memory, so, for a lot of growing boys at that time, Anne also became the OG crush who kickstarted their fanboy era.
But of course, the girl who made everyone swoon had a crush of her own too. The "It's Okay To Not Be Okay" star revealed that her first childhood crush from showbiz was none other than ‘90s heartthrob Bobby Andrews—the prince of coming-of-age rom-coms and barkada series of the decade.
We could even hear the giddy nostalgia in her voice as she reminisced about those cute, innocent days. And when they eventually starred in the same series together, Anne confessed, “Hindi ako naka-arte kasi sobra akong nahihiya.”
Based on what we've found online, that series also happened to be Anne’s first teleserye in 1997, which she did right after "Magic Kingdom." Their paths crossed again shortly after when she joined the cast of an iconic youth-oriented show where Bobby was part of the original batch alongside his then-loveteam partner Angelu de Leon. Anne came in as part of the Batch 2 cast and was paired with Chubi Del Rosario.
