While Olivia (Chanda Romero) was crying at the bedside of the still unconscious Doña Pilar (Celia Rodriguez), the hospital where she was admitted already informed Roberto (Albert Martinez) about their mother’s critical condition. They were, of course, shocked to find out about it and immediately went to the hospital to personally check on her condition.
Unbeknownst to Roberto and Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero), a horde of press people converged outside the hospital as Jackie (Angel Aquino) and Miguelito (Jake Cuenca) summoned them to cover this another tragedy in their family. As Roberto and Don Gustavo seemed to be appalled by their decision at first, Miguelito and Jackie told them that they could take advantage of the situation in order to gain the favor and sympathy of the public for the forthcoming elections.
Thus, Roberto was compelled to face the press to give their family’s official statement regarding what happened to Doña Pilar. While he was delivering his spontaneous speech, Miguelito chimed in and pretended to have a meltdown afterwards as he lambasted whoever was behind this incident.
