As Tanggol (Coco Martin) interrogated her about what really happened, Tindeng (Charo Santos) told him that she actually owes Alfredo (Juan Rodrigo) her life since it was him who saved her life. Alfredo’s response to Tindeng, saying that he would not let her be gone in his life again and he would be willing to sacrifice his own life for her, indeed bewildered Marites (Cherry Pie Picache).
Thus, Tindeng had no choice but to finally tell her daughter and grandson that they’re indeed more than just friends or housemates, for they actually had a romantic past. She introduced him as the man she was supposed to marry before Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero) abducted and impregnated her. However, they didn’t have the chance to reconcile after she was able to escape from Guerreros, as she decided to stay away from him and completely forget about him.
Little they did know that the universe would once again make their paths intertwine decades later by leading Tindeng back to Alfredo, who owns the house where she and Roda (Joel Lamangan) had sought refuge prior to this chaos.
