Johnny (RK Bagatsing) catches Agnes (Jessy Mendiola) meeting Samuel (Gerald Anderson) in the middle of the night and, without thinking, recklessly attacks him. Samuel fights back in self-defense, and the two quickly exchange blows. Agnes, desperate to stop them, tries to intervene—but they ignore her. Neither backs down until Samuel finally begins to pull away. Agnes pleads with him to stop completely and leave. He listens and walks away. Agnes tries to calm Johnny down, but he remains furious, seething with anger and still itching to go after Samuel. She explains that the meeting was work-related, but Johnny refuses to believe her.
When they return home, the argument continues. Blinded by rage and jealousy, Johnny lashes out and hurts Agnes. He accuses her of cheating, but Agnes throws it back at him, reminding him that he was the one who had an affair. Then, in a cruel outburst, Johnny yells that it was her fault their child died. Agnes recalls the terrifying moment her child stopped breathing and had to be taken to the hospital.
Agnes calls Samuel (Gerald Anderson) to apologize on behalf of her husband, but Samuel tells her there’s no need. He understands Johnny’s reaction, saying any husband would be upset if he found his wife meeting someone else in the middle of the night. Agnes then tells Samuel they need to talk.
Noel (Elyson de Dios) urges Johnny (RK Bagatsing) to let go of Agnes, pointing out that she already has Samuel and he, Johnny, has Delilah. But Johnny refuses, insisting that Agnes belongs to him and could never be truly happy with anyone else—especially not with Samuel, whom he angrily calls a “scammer.” Noel suggests that Johnny’s obsession with digging into Samuel’s background might be fueled by a personal grudge. He believes Samuel is up to something sinister.
Leah (Shaina Magdayao) stays focused on the ongoing investigation into the “Yayaman Tayo” investment scam. As she reads articles linking Samuel to the scandal, her mind races with questions. Her husband Jacob (JC de Vera) makes a surprise visit to her office and offers her breakfast. While Leah sets the food he brought on the table, Jacob catches a glimpse of what she’s reading—an article about King (Clave Sun) being saved by the police. Jacob asks when she became so interested in scamming. Leah replies that she’s simply helping the victims. Jacob presses further, asking if she plans to follow in her father’s (Tirso Cruz III) footsteps as a scam buster. Leah half-jokes that maybe she should take over her father’s role so he can finally get some rest.
Colonel Villanueva (Solimon Cruz) demands that Samuel explain why Roldan (Joko Diaz) is after him and why his son was kidnapped. Samuel finally confesses to him and Agnes that he has the money his father scammed from the victims. The colonel then asks what he plans to do with it.
Samuel assures him that he intends to return the money—every cent—once Roldan is taken down. He adds that he wants to join forces with them to guarantee the victims are repaid. Agnes, still unsure, asks what he plans to do with the money if he doesn’t intend to use it.
Without hesitation, Samuel explains that he’ll use it as leverage to infiltrate Roldan’s group, with the goal of destroying it from the inside. Colonel Villanueva slowly nods, then reaches out to shake Samuel’s hand—a gesture that seals their alliance.
Every member of Samuel’s family is under surveillance by Roldan. Jacob has assigned people to follow Lolita and King, while Arissa has been marked for assassination. Aware of the danger, Samuel makes another call to Roldan—this time, to ask if he’s finally ready to accept the deal - the seed phrase in exchange for his family’s safety.
Samuel firmly demands that Roldan call off his men and stop watching his family immediately. Left with no choice, Roldan gives in. One by one, the people tailing Samuel’s loved ones begin to back off. Once he complies, Roldan asks for the seed phrase—but Samuel abruptly ends the call, leaving both Roldan and Jacob seething in frustration.
Samuel tries to buy time, hoping to stop Roldan from executing their plan to seize all the money and scam even more victims. With limited options, Samuel is forced to play along—for now.
King tearfully asks his Lola Lolita (Lotlot de Leon), why Arissa hasn’t been coming home. He wonders if she’s angry with him, blaming himself for not listening when she told him to stay seated at the coffee shop—which he believes led to his kidnapping. Lolita gently calms him down, assuring him that Arissa is just busy with work.
Later, Lolita visits Arissa at the coffee shop to convince her to come home, telling her that everyone is worried. But Arissa puts up a strong front, telling Lolita not to worry about her because she's used to being alone.
Lolita tries to soften her heart by saying that King misses her and keeps asking for her. Arissa holds back her tears, refusing to let her emotions show. From a distance, Enzo (Seth Fedelin) watches the exchange, concern clearly etched on his face.
