Kapamilya star RK Bagatsing gives off the kind of energy that makes you want to be his friend. He’s chill, kind, and the more you listen to him talk, the more you realize this guy’s actually super down-to-earth.
In a recent sit-down with "Atin A10 Lang," RK shared some random facts about himself, and it just made us love him even more. From his simple joys to his subtle quirks, here’s what we found out.
First off, RK is a certified homebody. He can spend the whole day indoors just binge-watching movies and series without ever getting bored. And if it’s not a show or a film, he’s probably tuned in to a good boxing or MMA fight.
He's literally the type who finds peace in staying in. But that changed a little bit lately after buying a new motorbike, which now inspires him to go out more often and enjoy the outdoors on two wheels.
Even his favorite food reveals his simplicity. He’d be happy with just avocados, specifically avocado toast with lemon. Of course, it’s best paired with coffee, which he jestingly said is his lifeblood, “Siguro kape ang dumadaloy sa ugat ko."
Another RK fun fact is that he surfs. But when he’s not out in the water, you’ll probably find him playing video games, especially live-action ones. Isn’t there just something undeniably cool about a gamer dude?
He also used to be a varsity basketball player. On a side note, he’s a constant hooper at the Star Magic All-Star Games (with the next one happening on July 20 at the Big Dome). He also shared in a Kapamilya Chat episode that he used to play basketball a lot with his "Sins of the Father" co-star Gerald Anderson way before they worked together as co-actors.
And speaking of Kapamilya Chat, RK always has a lot to say whenever he drops by the digital talk show. “Sobrang nag-e-enjoy ako lagi sa Kapamilya Chat,” he said. Well, the vibe at Kapamilya Chat is always just light and chill, just like him.
