Lolita (Lotlot de Leon) catches Arissa (Francine Diaz) speaking to her biological mother, Ellen Williams (Aubrey Miles), through a video call. She overhears Ellen expressing concern after finding out that her daughter is staying at the Trinidad residence, warning Arissa that she might get caught up in the family’s troubles. This prompts Lolita to react and confront Ellen. She argues that Arissa is already involved—because she’s Mike’s (John Arcilla) daughter.
Arissa initiates a conversation with Lolita, admitting that she blames herself for King’s kidnapping. “Kung galit po kayo sa akin, mas galit ako sa sarili ko—kasi nawala si King habang ako ang bantay,” Arissa says, holding back her guilt.
While waiting for Samuel to come and save him, King recalls a moment when he was once scared of a "monster"—which turned out to be just a tree. His father’s words echo in his mind: “Anak, tatandaan mo, hangga’t andito si Daddy, walang mananakit sa’yo.”
Clinging to that memory, King reminds himself to stay strong. “Dadating si Daddy, kaya dapat maging matapang ako.”
Meanwhile, Roldan (Joko Diaz) receives a call from “Tanda,” who confidently assures him, “Sir, hawak na natin sa leeg si Samuel Trinidad. Sigurado ako—lahat ng hihingiin natin, ibibigay niya, dahil buhay ng anak niya ang nakataya dito.”
Using the Find Key that Enzo had secretly placed in King’s pocket while they were at the coffee shop, Samuel quickly checks the device and heads straight toward the direction it’s pointing to. Enzo, Ismael (Jerald Napoles), and Rafael (Nico Antonio) follow, running toward the area. But when they reach the spot where King had been held and tied up, all they find is the Find Key left behind. Samuel grows even more enraged and frustrated.
Meanwhile, Roldan praises Jacob (JC de Vera) for having a loyal man under his command—someone who had successfully relocated King before Samuel and his friends arrived, leaving behind only the Find Key as a decoy. Pleased with how smoothly the plan was executed, Roldan smirks and says, “You train your pet very well.”
Samuel receives a call from the kidnapper, taunting him for failing to catch them and warning him to focus on finding the seed phrase. Because they had nearly been discovered, the captor shortens the deadline—Samuel now has only two days to find it. Furious but determined, Samuel firmly assures him that he will find him.
At the Policarpio residence, Johnny continues to bring up Samuel in his conversation with Agnes (Jessy Mendiola). But Agnes firmly denies that anything is going on between them. “Pulis ako. Huwag kang magkakamali sa akin dahil malalaman ko kung nagsisinungaling ka,” Johnny warns. He goes on to say that Samuel seems to be hiding something—and that he may have kept the money from the scam.
Anton (Smokey Manaloto)’s son Zeke (Miguel Vergara) talks to his father and apologizes for blaming him for what happened to them. He admits that he shouldn’t have acted the way he did and expresses his regret for the hurt he caused. When Anton arrived at their house, he found Zeke lying on the floor, unconscious, and overdosed. He kept on waking him up hopelessly and achingly.
Lolita is devastated by the news that Samuel wasn’t able to bring King home. Arissa, once again, becomes overwhelmed with guilt, blaming herself for what happened. She reflects on her first moments with King and continues to express deep regret.
