Beauty Gonzalez and host Melai Cantiveros-Francisco took on a hilarious fast-talk challenge with a twist in Kuan on One's “Dakong Problema” challenge. They were not allowed to say the words “kuan,” “kanang,” and “hala” while answering their questions to each other. Every slip meant punishment, eating the bean boozled candies.
The two were given two minutes each for the game. Beauty went first to ask Melai questions, beginning with, “Kung bibigyan ka ng acting project kung saan bida ka, sino ang gusto mong kontrabida at bakit?”
Melai straight up answered Beauty herself because of her great acting skills in “Kadenang Ginto,” but later realized that Beauty was not the kontrabida in the said series. Beauty insisted that Melai answered wrongfully. The latter tried to explain but accidentally said the words “kuan” and “kanang,” earning her a punishment. Melai grabbed a candy from the bowl, accidentally picking out a bad-tasting one.
Next, Beauty asked “Kung bibigyan ka ng salamin na nakakapagsalita ng totoo, ano ang itatanong mo sa salamin?” Melai playfully replied, “Salamin, bakit naman ganito ang mukha ko?” But as she tried to elaborate, laughter filled the studio when she slipped again with “kuan,” another punishment for her.
“Ano ang payo mo sa mga young stars para magtagumpay sa showbiz?” Melai started strong but dropped “kanang” mid-explanation, sending her back to the candy bowl. Unfortunately, she picked another foul-tasting piece.
Beauty followed up with the question, “Kanina, tinanong mo kung papasok si Olivia (Beauty's daughter) sa showbiz, papayag ka ba na papasok si Stela (Melai's daughter)?” Melai answered honestly that she wouldn’t allow her daughter to enter showbiz, saying it would depend on her husband Jason Francisco. But when asked why her child was named Stela, Melai slipped again with “kuan,” making the whole studio erupt in laughter.
Finally, Beauty asked where Melai would look if Jason went missing for 48 hours. “Sa attic namin,” Melai replied. But as she explained further, she uttered “kanang” once more, causing her to lose the game.
It was now Melai's turn to ask questions to Beauty, kicking it off with, “Ano ang pangarap mo para kay Olivia?” Beauty answered, “Maging mabuti siya at handang tumulong sa ibang tao. And of course, makapagtapos siya ng pag-aaral.” She wishes for her daughter to focus on studying and live her life to the fullest, making memories rather than chasing dreams.
Melai then followed it up by asking what Norman Crisologo, Beauty's husband, dreams for their daughter. “Basta okay lang siya. Makuha niya lahat ng gusto niya. Healthy lang, good health,” was Beauty's response
Melai tried to get Beauty to say the forbidden words but failed, earning laughter from the crowd.
When asked what course she took up in college, Beauty shared that she studied Mass Communication. Melai asked what the usual activities are in MassCom, to which Beauty answered, “Tumatalak.” She explained that she chose the course because she was weak in Mathematics. “Hindi nga ako marunong,” she admitted. Melai joked that when it comes to money, Beauty is definitely good at it, “’Pag maliit ang laman ng bank account ko, mabibilang ko lahat kahit ang mga barya,” Beauty quipped.
Melai grew playfully frustrated as she couldn’t get Beauty to face a punishment. She then asked Beauty what her and Olivia’s comfort food was. Beauty answered that noodles with egg is her comfort food, though Olivia doesn’t like it.
Melai immediately threw her next question, “Sa teleserye o pelikula, ano ang paborito mong role?” Beauty quickly responded the best friend role. “Sa pagiging best friend, ang dami kong natutunan sa acting eh,” she shared. “Doon ko natutong magbasa ng script, doon ako natutong sumagot, umiyak, humugot sa ibang tao… doon yung acting workshop ko for being a best friend.”
The game ended with Beauty winning over Melai, as she never faced any punishment while answering the questions. Melai praised Beauty for being chill throughout the game and not feeling pressured.
