As if celebrating the holidays inside his house wasn’t memorable enough, Kuya went on to further surprise and thrill the housemates of “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab 2.0” by telling them that they’re going to have a ball to usher in the new year of 2026. Titled “Kislap: The Sparkling Magical New Year Ball”, host Bianca Gonzalez revealed to the viewers that it’s not only going to be a night of dazzle and merriment but also a symbol of the housemates’ intensifying fight for their dreams.
And since it’s a ball, Kuya thought that it would be better if the housemates were going to come in pairs, especially now that the male housemates and female housemates are equal in number. Thus, he asked them to get all dolled up and treated them to instant makeovers that all of them had actually been yearning for.
Just when the girls assumed that Kuya’s surprise ended there, they were stunned that the guys actually prepared special promposals for them, as they asked them to be their dates to the ball. As they prettily sat on the couch in the living room and waited for the gents to return from their makeover session, the ladies were delighted upon seeing Joaquin Arce walk towards them with a plate of specially made bread on it, which he offered to Lella Ford. According to the “Rising Dreamer ng Muntinlupa City”, the reason why he picked her to be his partner was because she’s special to him and he considers her his best friend.
John Clifford was the next one to step out of the hallway and totally surprised fellow Kapuso artist Sofia Pablo when it was her whom he chose to be his date to the upcoming ball. Aside from simply explaining that the reason why he wanted to come to the ball with her was to show his appreciation for all the fond memories they’d shared inside the house ever since Day 1 and for patiently teaching him how to cook, the “Dutiful Langga ng Cebu” also sought the help of their robot vacuum cleaner they named Roberto in delivering his invitation to her.
