Liam (Donny Pangilinan) is certain that one of the staff members at La Playa Roja is forming an alliance with Uno's (Joel Torre) team in the December 25 episode of “Roja.” Liam learns that one of the hostage takers is communicating with the armed men, and with Luna's (Maymay Entrata) help, he tries to find out who it is.
Upon investigating who the traitor is, Happy (Rubi Rubi) cannot help but defend herself against Liam's growing suspicions. “Kung meron mang traydor dito, hindi po ako ’yon,” she insists, adding, “Ang tagal kong nagserbisyo dito. Parang ako nga ang nagpalaki sa’yo, eh. Tapos paghihinalaan mo ako nang ganyan?” as she questions Liam. Liam reiterates that he never accused Happy of betraying them. He explains that he is simply certain one of the staff is in contact with the hostage-takers.
Later on, Luna talks to Liam after he fails to find anything they can use to contact the thugs. “’Di naman kaya mali lang ’yong narinig mo?” she asks. Liam denies this, insisting he is certain about what he heard. “Anong gusto mong palabasin? Nagha-hallucinate ako?” he questions, adding that even though he knows the staff’s personalities, they are still capable of betrayal---drawing from his experience with Greta (Lorna Tolentino) and her betrayals of their family. “Hindi tayo dapat bumitaw ng tingin sa kanila. Baka makapagradyo ulit kung sinuman ’yong traydor na ’yon… Sigurado ako, isa sa kanila ang traydor,” he tells Luna.
Later on, Liam continues to question Luna about whether she still doubts his suspicions, but he is interrupted when Happy speaks up again. “Grabe naman kasi, eh. Bata ka pa lang, nandidito na ako,” she reminds him, pointing out that even his parents, Greta and Magnus (Raymond Bagatsing), know her deeply. However, staff members Love (Inka Magnaye) and Joy (Sophie Reyes) challenge her, revealing how much she resents Greta for often ignoring her when it comes to job promotions. As Happy defends herself, the other staff’s resentment toward Greta is brought to light.
