Rooted in family
A ¼ New Zealander and the eldest of three siblings, Iñigo shares a close bond with his younger brother and has a soft spot for his youngest sister, whom he describes as a “mini version” of himself. He considers his mom as a close friend and proudly describes himself as mama's boy.
Iñigo is the son of actor James Blanco, whom he considers as his idol and mentor. Growing up, he and his siblings would accompany their dad to his tapings, where he first had a glimpse of what showbiz looks like. Those experiences and his father's life advice helped him forge his own path in the industry.
Passion meets purpose
Currently in his third year in college at De La Salle University (DLSU), Iñigo is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education, a choice that roots from his desire to open a school for kids with special needs, fueled by his love for children and his past experience of being diagnosed with ADHD as a child.
For Iñigo, finishing his education is very important to him.
When he was 18, he worked as a busboy and dishwasher in Japan for a month, where he served wine and cleaned tables in a fine dining restaurant. That experience made Inigo realize the true value of hard work, shaping the mindset he carries today and thinks of it as one of the turning points in his life.
Did you know that he once sold loom bands to Julia Barretto? Even as a kid, he was already business-minded, later venturing into reselling shoes and clothes.
A career in bloom
His journey into the spotlight began in January 2025 when he joined a modeling agency. With striking features and natural confidence in front of the camera, no doubt that he would soon land his first contract signing with Star Magic on July 25, 2025, marking a major milestone in his career.
Far from stardom
When the spotlight is off, you'll most likely find Iñigo on the basketball court. He considers the sport as his first love as he has been playing since he was 5 years old. He uses it as an emotional outlet especially when he plays with his dad. Outside the court he enjoys journaling, working out and reading books
In sharing his journey inside Bahay ni Kuya, Iñigo wishes to inspire others to embrace their journey and personal experiences. A rising star like Iñigo is more than ready to shine.
