As much as Ponggay (Maris Racal) would have wanted to avoid Hector (Aljur Abrenica) not just because of how annoyingly arrogant and egotistic he is, but also because of how he still had the audacity to flirtatiously message her following what he had done to her after their highly important mission that was foiled by Tanggol (Coco Martin)—she really just couldn't.
He enthusiastically greeted her as soon as she arrived at the police station, to which she retorted by giving him a salute. Even though she had made it obvious that she wasn't in the mood to deal with him, more so to talk about what happened the day before, he still pompously tried to shoot her shot on her. But she was able to shut him off by excusing herself and walking off towards her workstation.
Ponggay was then teasingly welcomed by her close friend-cum-colleague Chona (Via Antonio), who subsequently admitted that it was actually her who gave Ponggay's number to Hector.
Knowing this might have irked Ponggay since Chona was completely aware of how she despises him so much, but her mood seemed to have suddenly lit up when she opened up about what she did the night before.
Contrary to Chona's assumption that she went on a date with Hector, she recounted her solo attempt to arrest Tanggol and his group. She may have failed but her latest encounter with him had further convinced her that Tanggol is absolutely far from what the society has perceived him to be.
She went on to impart Tanggol's claim about the Guerrero family being the root cause of corruption in the City of Manila. This was further attested by her father's confession that the main reason why he got dismissed from service and incarcerated for two years was the Guerreros.
Chona contradicted it by implying that Tanggol was only trying to malign his rivals after losing to them in the last elections. Besides, Chona reminded her not to easily believe everything that he would tell her because he's just like the other criminals whom they have been after.
