Due to her failure to arrest Tanggol (Coco Martin), Ponggay (Maris Racal) was completely upset with herself, which her family was able to notice as she arrived at their home grumbling. Her stepmom, Linda (Aleck Bovick), found a reason to mock her again following her failure to find out the identity of the suspect in the case of her stepsister, Dimples (Criza Taa).
As she couldn’t provide any definite reason why it happened, Lola Florie (Perla Bautista) presumed that it was probably because she was still feeling a debt of gratitude towards him for saving Mauro from being beaten up by Taruc.
Her father, Mauro (Richard Quan), went on to advise her that being a police officer doesn’t automatically mean that she would always be right. Sometimes, she has to get to know someone on a deeper level before she can tell if that person is good or bad.
Suddenly, there was a series of knocks on their door, which was subsequently revealed to have come from Tanggol. Shocked, Ponggay immediately took out her gun and pointed it at him, who explained that he went there to apologize for what he and his group had done to her at their hideout.
Ponggay reiterated how she regretted not arresting them right there and then, as well as how resolved she was to nab them, especially him, the next time that they would see each other. Besides, she would not hesitate to shoot them once he attempts to resist his arrest.
Lola Florie and Mauro approached Ponggay to advise her to simply forgive him because the mere fact that he made the effort to go to their house to personally apologize to her, as well as that he didn’t think twice to rescue Mauro, could already attest to how kindhearted a person Tanggol really is.
Since Ponggay continues to firmly hold on to the idea that she and Tanggol are on opposite sides of the narrative, he declared that he would also treat her as an enemy as well the next time their paths would cross again if that’s what she wants. Ponggay attempted to chase him as he left, but Lola Florie and Mauro were able to stop her.
