We can really tell that Fred Moser wears his heart on his jersey. In “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0,” we've watched him open up during the “Kalo-Clown Halloween Task” about his biggest “multo” in life, which was missing the chance to chase his dream collegiate basketball career. It was his first real heartbreak.
Basketball really runs in his veins, as in, since he was a toddler! He started dribbling at just four years old and played all the way until last year. He was a varsity player from Grade 3 to 11 in Bicol before transferring to Manila. Fred’s court skills even made waves back home when a video of him playing basketball went viral online.
But there’s more to him than just basketball. He’s a fighter and a dreamer. Fred started modeling in Grade 10, joining a mall fashion show in Bicol, and just last August, he officially became part of Star Magic. He dreams of becoming a leading man someday. Well, with that mix of charm and discipline, we can totally see it happening.
Off the court, his life is just as inspiring. Fred's Swiss dad is based in Mongolia, a former lawyer who now works as a consultant, while his mom runs an online business selling bags, perfumes, and other items. She’s also his number one supporter. His mom hopes he’ll eventually make a name in showbiz for a brighter future, while his dad has always promised to support him all the way in whatever path he chooses.
Fred said that if he can’t continue his basketball journey here in the Philippines, he’d take it all the way to Mongolia. The thought of him being away even for a while makes us a little sad, but of course, we’ll still cheer him on wherever life takes him, right?
Typical of a hooper, Fred is pretty much outgoing and always on the move. He’s an extrovert who loves being with his friends, usually hanging out with fellow varsity players back in school. When he’s not shooting hoops, he’s trying out other sports like golf and bowling, or anything that keeps his competitive spirit alive. When he was still in Bicol, he was even a certified "road tripper," or someone who loves long drives either in a car or on a motorcycle. What would be your perfect playlist if you were on a road trip with Fred? Maybe movie and series OSTs would do, since he's also into watching films and shows.
As a housemate, Fred believes he can strike that perfect balance between being funny yet disciplined, competitive but friendly, and a natural leader who motivates both himself and his teammates.
