When Jacob’s (JC de Vera) business partners arrive, they refuse to push through with their deal when they found out that Jacob is a criminal. Jacob lashes out in frustration.
Meanwhile, Mael (Jerald Napoles) calls Samuel with urgent news. “Samuel! May movement ‘yung pera sa crypto wallet!” he reports, revealing that Jacob is behind it. Jacob, confident, insists “Gagamitin natin ‘tong pera na ‘to para ibangon ang Bakunawa.”
Samuel immediately calls Jacob, asking him to stop. Samuel reminds Jacob of his failures. “Wala na ‘yung scam warehouse mo, ‘yung network mo tumba na, ‘yung mga kasamahan mo na-expose na, pati ‘yung mga European partners n’yo sa Crown Madeira nag-backout na dahil ‘yung pera bumalik na sa Crypto Wallet ng Bakunawa. Jacob, tama na!”
Confused as to how Samuel discovered this, Jacob grows furious. “Paano nangyari?!” he demands. Samuel explains that when Jacob attempted to transfer the money to other crypto wallets, he unknowingly used a different website. The USB Jacob had trusted contained a Trojan horse, planted by Mael’s team, for them to intercept and reroute the funds. In the end, Jacob himself was the downfall of his own empire.
Samuel urges him to surrender, but Jacob is not moved at all. “Trinidad, hindi kita titigilan! Papatayin ko kayong lahat!” he threatens.
