A quick “flashback” scene showed Marco Masa, chatting with Caprice Cayetano, sharing that most of the “PBB Collab 2.0” housemates were familiar faces to him, Miguel Vergara included, since they were practically "batchmates" as Kapamilya child stars and they even played brothers in a teleserye. In the middle of Marco and Caprice’s conversation, Eliza Borromeo casually joined in.
Because the topic was “connections,” Eliza shared that she and Miguel had also worked together on a project, and then admitted she wanted to grow closer to him and get to know him better inside the house.
But as the days went by, Eliza and Marco were the ones constantly talking. In one of their recent conversations, when Marco asked, Eliza said she saw “potential partners” among three male housemates—and in the order she mentioned them—Inigo Jose, Miguel, and Marco.
Even Eliza’s closest girl friends inside the house, Carmelle Collado and Krystal Mejes, have started noticing her closeness with the two boys. Carmelle subtly reminded her that Miguel and Marco are best friends. Eliza responded that she and Marco are best friends too, which made Carmelle react, "Ay, weh? Kailan pa kayo naging maging mag-best friend." Eliza answered, "Pagpasok dito."
Carmelle advised her to be careful, "Hindi ka namin pipigilan kung kanino ka magkakagusto pero, siyempre, mag-ingat. Kasi si [Marco], siyempre, before kayo pumasok dito, hindi naman talaga kayong dalawa." Krystal then added, “You have to protect your heart. You’re not supposed to give it to everybody. It’s supposed to be pursued. Let them come to you. Huwag ikaw ang lumalapit sa kanila. Because you're a woman, and a woman is treasure."
