Turning 17 inside the “PBB” house was already memorable, but Kuya made sure to add more twist for the birthday girl Caprice Cayetano, who had to complete a special task that required her to become a human cake topper.
Caprice’s task was to stand on top of the giant cake platform and recreate photos from memorable moments in her life that Kuya would show one by one. Since she was the human cake topper, she had to stay perfectly still and silent. But before that, she had to share the story behind each picture.
The first photo flashed on screen was of a young Caprice back in 2012, her 'kikay' era! She shared that the little girl in the picture never went anywhere without her stash of red lipsticks in her bag. She was wearing a chic hat, because hats were totally her thing back in the day.
Somewhere in between the laughter and posing, the next image had everyone a little misty-eyed— a baby photo of Caprice with her dad. She shared it was taken in 2009, their second meeting, since her parents were still teenagers when they had her and were kept apart by their own families for a time. She added that her parents told her how they’d only meet during special occasions and would secretly talk during those chance encounters.
That’s when Caprice couldn’t hold back her tears anymore. She opened up about how her dad used to work at a fast-food restaurant and would use his pay buying diapers for her at the drugstore right next door. Even though her maternal grandparents practically raised her while her mom was still in school, she said she’s always been proud of her dad for working hard and finding ways to provide for her, even at such a young age.
