In the last two weeks of “Sins of the Father,” secrets are about to explode—and no one is safe.
In the November 11 episode, a deadly shootout pits Jacob (JC De Vera) and Roldan (Joko Diaz) against Samuel's (Gerald Anderson) men. As Diego (Tirso Cruz III) puts his trust in Samuel, Johnny (RK Bagatsing) grows suspicious and finally finds out the woman behind the explosion, realizing that Agnes (Jessy Mendiola) was the one who detonated the bomb.
With Oplan Bakunawa underway, Samuel’s plans might be ruined as Matthias (Eric Fructuoso) escapes from hospital arrest, determined to expose him.
Jacob and Roldan vs. Samuel and Diego in a crossfire
A brutal shootout erupts between Samuel’s men and Jacob and Roldan. Amid the chaos, Samuel hides Diego for his safety, while Johnny is desperate to take his father away from danger himself. Diego chooses to go with Samuel.
As rapid gunfire rains down, orders echo: “Remember, hindi sila pwedeng mamatay!” as ordered by Samuel, and “Patayin silang lahat!” from the police, under Diego’s command.
Roldan urges Jacob to escape, but the latter refuses. A sniper’s bullet hits Roldan. Eventually weakened by the gunshot, Roldan is captured by Samuel’s men. Jacob, enraged, continues the fight alone for his brother.
Meanwhile, Diego fumes over Roldan’s escape. Samuel, hiding his betrayal, assures Diego he’ll “fix everything”—even though it was his own sabotage that ruined Diego’s plan.
Enzo finds more truth inside the scam hub
Inside the scam hub, Naomi (Barbie Imperial) secretly approaches Enzo (Seth Fedelin). “Anong ginagawa mo dito, paano ka napunta dito?.... Nakikipagtulungan ka ba kay Don Romantiko para makatakas kami dito?” she asks, confusing Enzo. A flashback reveals Samuel once told him about the warehouse’s location.
The pieces click—Samuel is Don Romantiko. Enzo, still grieving Gavin’s (Ashton Salvador) death, promises Naomi that this Don Romantiko is doing everything to save them. Naomi, guilt-ridden, apologizes for her failed attempts to protect everyone, especially Gavin.
Samuel’s true intentions for Roldan
Roldan later wakes up in a locked room, furious with Diego, thinking he was the one who captured him. “Kung papatayin mo ‘ko, patayin mo na ‘ko! ….Walang hiya ka, Tanda!”
Unbeknownst to him, this was part of Samuel’s plan. He intends to use Roldan as a state witness against Diego. It’s Roldan’s only shot at survival. Samuel, now playing both sides, pushes forward with Oplan Bakunawa—the raid at the scam hub that could finally expose Diego’s operations.
“Kailangan nating bilisan ‘to, baka mahalata ako ni Tanda.” As the strike team awaits the go signal for Oplan Bakunawa, Samuel’s plans grow riskier by the second.
Leah’s doubts grow about Diego
Leah (Shaina Magdayao) later confronts Diego at his office after another attempt on his life. She’s shaken by how little Diego knows about the people around him—Jacob, Roldan, and even Samuel. She questions his abilities and wonders how he still doesn’t know who’s orchestrating the demolition job against him.
Her trust in her father’s judgment begins to crack, even more so when Diego agrees with her about how little he knows. Leah remains skeptical of his plans. Nervous and doubtful, she lets her father proceed with them.
Johnny finally discovers the woman behind the explosion
Despite Diego trusting Samuel more than him, Johnny remains determined to find out who’s trying to kill his father. He’s also eager to identify the woman who detonated the bomb before the explosion.
Meanwhile, Agnes panics over her missing bracelet, fearing it was left at the crime scene. Samuel reassures her that she may have just misplaced it. Agnes agrees, but nervousness is still evident on her face.
Still thinking about the bracelet, Johnny glances at an old photo of himself and Agnes, his ex-wife. Flashbacks of their conversations about the bracelet occur, and there, Johnny finally realizes that the mystery woman behind the bombing was Agnes.
Samuel’s intentions are about to be unraveled
Matthias regains consciousness in the hospital—only to realize he’s under arrest. Fueled by vengeance and clarity, he escapes, attacking the nurse and shooting the officer guarding him. His escape threatens to reveal everything about Samuel.
“Lagot ka ngayon, Samuel. Pagbabayaran mo lahat ng ginawa mo!” Matthias is now on a mission to take Samuel down, knowing he’s the mastermind fighting against Diego.
The truth is coming out, and everything is falling apart. With secrets exposed and plans unraveling, no one will make it out unscathed.
