Things are heating up in the November 7 episode of “Sins of the Father.” Enzo (Seth Fedelin) goes missing, and Roldan (Joko Diaz) is pushed to his limits as Samuel’s (Gerald Anderson) plan begins to unfold—unaware that Matthias (Eric Fructuoso), who knows what Samuel may be up to, has just woken up from his coma.
As Diego (Tirso Cruz III) uses himself as bait to lure Roldan out of hiding, the tension builds and the danger gets real.
Enzo's painful discovery
Bruised and disoriented, Enzo finds himself trapped inside the scam hub, now forced to work for the people who beat him up. He remains confused about Gavin’s (Ashton Salvador) whereabouts. Late at night, he spoke with one of the workers in the scam hub, and that’s when he learned that Gavin had tried to escape—giving him hope that Gavin might be alright.
However, that wasn’t the case. The men operating the scam hub had killed Gavin. In shock, Enzo couldn’t believe Gavin is gone. He tried to get more information, but one of the armed men caught them talking and ordered them to go to sleep.
Johnny connects the dots
While investigating the explosion, Johnny (RK Bagatsing) and his team uncover new CCTV footage near the crime scene. The footage shows a woman holding a detonator. Johnny asks his team to enhance the image, and there he sees the same bracelet he found as evidence the other day.
The bracelet belonged to his ex-wife, Agnes (Jessy Mendiola). It was previously revealed that Agnes helped Samuel orchestrate the explosion and was the one who detonated the bomb to attack Diego.
Samuel’s game plan
Carefully laying out his plans, Samuel tells Diego that he can’t carry out the command to hunt down and kill Roldan and Jacob (JC De Vera), claiming he’s having a hard time locating them. Instead, he pitches a new approach. Flashbacks show Samuel explaining his exact strategy to his group.
He plans to use Enzo’s abduction to lure Roldan out of hiding, knowing he’ll be shaken by his son’s disappearance. “Paniniwalain ko siya na kayo [Diego] ang dahilan kung bakit siya nawawala,” Samuel says, confident that Roldan will retaliate against Diego. He intends to place Diego in a public setting to bait Roldan into attacking.
To ensure Diego agrees, Samuel plays on his ego and challenges him—saying that if Diego can’t handle it, they’ll go with another plan. Diego, of course, insists that Roldan doesn’t scare him, so he agrees and puts his trust in Samuel.
Roldan takes the hook of Diego's bait
As part of the plan, news breaks that Enzo is missing. Diego appears on national media and publicly asks Roldan to meet with him. The plan seems to work—Roldan and Jacob watch the news.
Upon learning that his son is in danger, Roldan becomes furious with Diego. “Pati anak ko dinamay mo sa gulo! Ang usapan walang galawan ng pamilya!” he lashes out. As he weighs his next move, the news announces Diego’s public appearance the next day—another part of the plan to lure Roldan out.
Leah continues to warn Diego
After watching the news, Leah (Shaina Magdayao) confronts Diego about what happened. Diego tells her it seems Roldan and Jacob are truly involved in criminal activities, and unfortunately, Enzo is getting caught in the crossfire.
Leah isn't convinced and questions whether Samuel is truly innocent. Diego admits he tried investigating Samuel but found nothing. Still, he assures Leah that he’s digging to look into whether Samuel is hiding something behind his back.
Matthias comes back from the brink
Amid the chaos, Matthias remains in a coma after the car crash caused by Samuel chasing him down. Later, he wakes up. As he regains consciousness, memories of the incident flood back.
Furious at Samuel, he mutters, “Hayop ka, Samuel!” with the intention to immediately get back at him.
Samuel’s plan in motion
The day to execute the plan arrives. Diego is set to speak at an event, and Samuel accompanies him. Johnny is also present, confused by Samuel’s presence beside Diego.
Roldan and Jacob are on the move, with Samuel’s men scattered throughout the area. The initial plan was for the police to be on standby to capture and kill Roldan and Jacob. But Samuel has other intentions—he wants them alive.
The episode ends in a shootout as the targets, Roldan and Jacob, draw near.
With Roldan pushed to the edge and Samuel's true intentions still in question, will justice be served or will their sins continue to haunt them all?
