At 18, “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab 2.0” housemate Waynona Collings is already mature enough to realize that she needed to step up and start working at an early age to support her parents. This was after their past business left them empty-handed, as she tearfully imparted during their “Kalo-Clown Halloween Task.”
Her being the breadwinner of their family is apparently the reason why she’s given the moniker “Ang Ate de Pamilya ng Quezon City.” She has already appeared in several GMA series ever since entering showbiz at the age of 14, through which she’s able to showcase her acting chops. And we can’t wait for her to star in an international movie, which has been one of her ultimate dreams as a budding actress!
In the past two decades of “PBB,’ a lot of famous celebrities have already swung by and graced “Bahay ni Kuya,” we couldn’t help but imagine what her reaction might be once her showbiz crushes, Donny Pangilinan and Miguel Tanfelix, are going to be invited by Big Brother to visit them.
The young Sparkle stunner seems to have a close-knit tie with her beloved family, as she considers their travel to Hong Kong as one of her fondest memories. Besides, she also regards her older brother, Wayne, as her “ride-or-die", as he seems to be the one to stick by her through all situations, be they are good or bad.
Waynona, who has never had a boyfriend, seems to have her sight strictly set on her goals of doing good in school, finishing her studies, and seizing every opportunity given to her at work. By getting herself into showbiz, she’s able to help her mother, who runs an online food business that sells party trays to support their family’s needs.
She is currently a Grade 10 homeschooling student at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Angelicum, who takes pride in being an honor student, in being punctual with her modules, and in being a perfectionist. Since she’s into makeup and fashion, with Ni-Ki of the all-male Korean pop group Enhypen being her fashion icon, she aims to pursue fashion and marketing in college.
While she’s still finding her way inside Bahay ni Kuya, Waynona has a circle of friends in the outside world who fondly call her “Way.” They regard her as the “therapist” of their group because of her willingness to always listen to them, as well as the “ate” (or big sister) because she’s the one with a lot of patience.
Aside from work and studies, the Kapuso young actress is also committed to an active and healthy lifestyle by hitting the gym to lift weights, as well as playing badminton, pickleball, and volleyball. However, there seem to be instances when she gives in to her cravings, especially when it’s her favorite snacks.
Whenever she’s not busy with work, you may find her taking photos or editing reels and posts, which are actually her hobbies. Apart from acting, she has also been honing her skills in dancing by taking master classes with Sexbomb dancer Rochelle Pangilinan.
