Following their successful mission in seizing the Montenegro Family Drug Syndicate, which Vice Mayor Roberto Guerrero (Albert Martinez) had entrusted him to spearhead, Rigor (John Estrada) was promoted to the rank of police captain.
It was made official during the pinning ceremony held at the Quiapo Police Station, in which Roberto was the honorary guest, who promised Rigor to help him finally attain the promotion that used to be elusive to him. His colleagues may be delighted to witness this new milestone in his life and career, but not Hector (Aljur Abrenica), who was obviously bitter for being relieved from his duty as the officer-in-charge of their precinct.
While he was pinning his medal, Roberto seemed to imply to Rigor to continue his loyalty to the Guerreros since he could help him achieve whatever it is he’s been aspiring for—just like his big jump from police corporal to police captain—as long as their family stays in power. Roberto went on to tell Rigor to stay dedicated to his job because he may eventually become his most trusted general.
