With all the things that had happened to him over the past days that almost cost him his precious life, Ramon (Christopher de Leon) was in complete disbelief that he made it out alive.
He couldn’t help but wonder why God has still given him another chance to live despite all his transgressions and shortcomings. However, he assumed that the main reason might be for him to still be there for his son, Tanggol (Coco Martin), as he continues to navigate life.
Tanggol later joined him in his musings, imparting to him that his recent near-death experiences have made him realize a lot of things and have altered his perspective on life. He also asked for his son’s forgiveness for all the times that he had opposed him, especially when he tried to convince him and Don Julio (Tommy Abuel) to halt their illegal drug business.
Ramon then implied that he would take this second chance in life that God has given him to change his ways and become a better father to Tanggol, as well as to fulfill their mutual aspiration of having a complete family—which Tanggol absolutely appreciated.
Now that everything they had was seized by the authorities and their enemies, Ramon is keen to prove to them that their wealth has never depended on the power of the Montenegros. He went on to tell Tanggol that he had to leave to talk to someone and
