An intense chase and shootout ensued between Tropang Tanggol and Red Phoenix member Kidlat (Smugglaz) after they spotted him in one of the alleys of Quiapo while they were on their way back to their current hideout.
Knowing that he’s part of the group who abducted his father, Tanggol (Coco Martin) and his friends relentlessly pursued him until they were able to corner him in one of the buildings. Despite being assaulted by Tanggol, Kidlat still denied his involvement with the abduction and told him that he didn’t have any idea about what he was referring to.
So, Tanggol continued to beat him up and threatened to shoot him until Kidlat was left with no choice but to finally confess where the Red Phoenix group brought Ramon (Christopher de Leon) in exchange for Tanggol not killing him. Tropang Tanggol left upon hearing the sirens from the police mobile car, abandoning Kidlat, who was wounded and frightened while lying on the floor.
