A day after their arrest, Divina (Rosanna Roces) was visited in prison by an unexpected guest—Vice Mayor Roberto Guerrero (Albert Martinez), who requested to have a one-on-one meeting with her for a very important matter.
Roberto began by asking about her relationship with his contractor-friend Brando Mondragon (Roi Vinzon), to which she revealed that he’s someone from her past whom she has been trying to forget. As she seemed to have sensed that he was intrigued by her response, she didn’t allow him to follow that up with another question, so she quickly asked him what he wanted from her.
He told her that he needed her help in finding Tanggol, to which she didn’t hesitate to express her willingness to cooperate with them since she also wanted him to pay for all the misfortunes that he had brought in her life and business. Since the favor that he’d asked of her was huge, Divina also asked something in return from Roberto—her and her companion’s freedom in exchange for Tanggol’s head—to which he agreed.
After his meeting with Divina, Roberto spoke with Hector (Aljur Abrenica) and Rigor (John Estrada) to ask if they could temporarily release her so she could bring the police to the hideout of Tanggol’s group.
While Hector agreed to his request without further questions, Rigor expressed his doubts about Divina. But Roberto told him that he was confident that she wouldn’t trick them since he knew that she was the kind of person who would put herself first and her family and friends second. Besides, Divina needed him to help her with her case.
In the end, Rigor assured Roberto that he could count on him to accomplish their shared goals of eliminating crimes in their city.
