In celebration of The Baby Dolls' debut EP 'ZoomBaby Dolls' exceeding an accumulated 10 million Spotify streams, One Music PH compiled slumbooks for you to know more about the girls.
The Showtime Baby Dolls continue to be among the hottest local acts in the OPM pop scene with their debut EP ZoomBaby Dolls exceeding an accumulated total of over 10 million streams (10,021,087, to be exact). This was primarily on the strength of lead singles "Ikembot Mo", which has over 2.9 million streams and their biggest blockbuster hit "Ooh Lala Baby", which has garnered almost 6.5 million Spotify streams.
On YouTube, the official lyric and music videos of "Ooh Lala Baby" has amassed over 12.7 million and nearly 8.5 million views, respectively. The official lyric and Zumba performance dance videos of "Ikembot Mo" has totaled nearly 6.1 million views.
The Baby Dolls have captured the country's fancy with their modern ppop take on the brand of fun, sweet'n'spicy dance novelty music popularized by the likes of the Sex Bomb Girls, Vhong Navarro and songwriter Lito Camo. The group recently held a big Grand Baby Dolls Day celebration production number with the hosts of It's Showtime! and a smorgasbord of celebrities. In the history of ABS-CBN television, the only other stars accorded with the same honor are Sarah Geronimo ("Tala") and BINI ("Pantropiko") on ASAP.
For their Baby Loves out there, here's are sets of slumbook questionaires from both StarPop PH and One Music PH answered by all of the girls:
