Rock bands Lola Amour, Over October and Shirebound are set to headline the inaugural edition of a new concert series that reimagines beloved songs through orchestral arrangements.
Titled "Alt.chestra," the concert series will feature an intimate performance showcase that blends contemporary band music with the rich sound of a live orchestra.
The first installment to the series will take place at the Music Museum in San Juan on August, with musical direction by Ronald Tomas.
Tickets are available here with the following tiers and prices:
• VIP - P2,400 (includes soundcheck access, poster, and post card)
• Orchestra - P1,500 (reserved seating)
• Balcony - P999 (free seating)
Apart from their individual sets, Lola Amour, Over October and Shirebound — each boasting around 3 million monthly listeners on Spotify — will come together onstage for a special collaborative performance.
The seven-piece band Lola Amour rose to mainstream popularity with its 2023 hit "Raining in Manila," while alternative rock-pop quartet Over October is known for songs such as "Ikot" and "Dahan."
Shirebound, meanwhile, describes its music as "Pilosopop" (Philosopher Pop), characterized by heartfelt and introspective songwriting, with tracks such as "Hingalo" and "Pahintulot" among its most notable releases.
